TWHS Lady Highlander Basketball Coaches:

 

Varsity Head   Coach:   Trista Tatsch

This will be Coach Trista Tatsch's 5th    year as the head coach for the Lady Highlanders, and her 21st    year coaching here at TWHS. She feels so blessed to be on the court   this year with all that is going on in the world. There is no better place to be than in the gym with these awesome young ladies! This group is working to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to have a great year and get back into the playoffs!  Coach Tatsch is a 1999 graduate of Texas A&M-Kingsville with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Health. She loves to stay active by running whenever she has an opportunity and playing with her new yorkie puppy, Lucy.     Coach Tatsch has competed in  multiple marathons, and even qualified and ran in the Boston Marathon.     She loves to travel in the summers and see every beach that she possibly can! Coach Tatsch feels absolutely blessed to have the opportunity to teach and coach here at TWHS and believes that there is nothing better than being a HIGHLANDER!! 

JV Coach:   Ashley Davis

 

Coach Ashley Davis is starting her fourth season as part of The Lady Highlanders Basketball Program and continues to serve as the JV Coach. Coach Davis has participated in basketball all her life with her high school career beginning at Eisenhower High School, where she played all four years, and she continued her basketball career at Houston Baptist University from 2004-2008. Now entering her 13th year in coaching, Coach Davis believes that every season can be a successful season by simply staying the course. Believing in the quote by Jon Gordon, "The difference between the best and the rest is the WORK ETHIC, the BELIEF, the PREPARATION, the SKILL and the WILL", Coach Davis is devoted to doing WHATEVER IT TAKES, to assist the Lady Highlander Program to reach even higher heights and capture amazing memories along the way!

 

Freshmen Red Coach:   Mikela Dillon

 

Coach Mikela Dillon is originally from Louisiana where she played basketball at Hammond High School and received a scholarship to play at Southwest MS Community College, and later attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette earning a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Education. She loves being a wife and mom of two! Her career began in Aldine ISD at Aldine Middle 13 years ago. Since then, she has coached girls’ basketball, track, and soccer. Entering her 2nd year as the freshman coach, Coach Dillon is committed to providing the best experience for our lady highlanders, while maintaining a high level of standards and expectations. She prides herself in creating lasting and meaningful relationships, that create a positive and healthy environment in which our lady highlanders can grow and excel!

 

Freshman Green Coach: Coach Keith Harvey 

Coach  Harvey  enters his fourteenth year in education for Conroe ISD and four years coaching in Conroe District athletic programs.  Coach  Harvey  joins TWHS Freshman Girls Basketball program at the 9th grade campus this year. Coach Harvey has experience coaching football, girls’ and boys’ track, as well as girls’ and boys’ soccer. 

In addition to coaching girls’ basketball, Coach Harvey also coaches football for TWHS.   

Keith attended Lamar University and graduated in 2001 and 2005 with a bachelor's degree in political science and Dietetics.
